Fauve and Tanya make provocative multi-disciplinary performances. Tanya studied Neuroscience before going to the anarchist clown school, École Philippe Gaulier. Fauve has worked as a performer for different companies across Europe before returning to the UK where she dabbles in directing and performance art. Their work is international facing and is interested in themes of intimacy and the sense of belonging. Their first show together was Extra Terra (Tiyatro Medresesi/BAC) a punk pop performance which follows the surreal thoughts of a young woman as she enters a hospital to have an abortion and takes inspiration from the work of visual artists Tracy Emin and Louise Bourgeois. They have subsequently worked together on the short film Siren (2019) and theatre piece Nights at the Circus which was taken to Edinburgh Fringe festival this summer.

XOX is the first showing of an interdisciplinary collaboration exploring digital intimacy. Working with the movement of the body, digital mapping and responsive sound we invite the spectator into a world exploring love, heartbreak and technology. Using techniques built from ASMR we will take you on a journey to the very heart of love and its spine tingling pleasures.
